The charismatic hosts of five major talk shows have combined to create a new podcast that has rocketed to number one spot on Spotify within days of its launch.
Originally conceived in May, the initiative saw Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Seth Meyers, and John Oliver meet every week to delve into the intricacies of the Hollywood strikes.
The first episode launched on August 30 and is slated to run for at least twelve episodes, with each host serving as a rotating moderator.
Strike Force Five offers listeners a potent mix of humor, insightful commentary, and unique perspectives as the hosts navigate the labyrinthine world of Hollywood strikes and other industry topics.
But the show is more than just entertainment; it serves a philanthropic purpose as well.
All proceeds generated by the hosts from this venture will be donated to the out-of-work staff of their respective late-night shows, including The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.

Spotify serves as the exclusive sales partner for the podcast, which has garnered early support from notable brands.
Co-presenting sponsors Mint Mobile and Diageo – representing Aviation American Gin, Bulleit Frontier Whiskey, Casamigos, and Ketel One Vodka- were among the first to back the ambitious project.
